This product comes with 36 colorful winter-themed task cards aligned to the 4th grade Math standard MACC.4.NBT.2.6 Find whole-number quotients and remainders with up to four-digit dividends and one-digit divisors, using strategies based on place value, the properties of operations, and/or the relationship between multiplication and division. Illustrate and explain the calculation by using equations, rectangular arrays, and/or area models.Ā
They can be copied in color or black and white and then laminated to include in your math center. The task cards vary from naked problems to number stories. In my 4th grade classroom, we covered division in the Fall and many students still had not mastered this concept. However, we had to move on to bigger and greater things. These task cards can be used in a Math Center, Small Group Instruction or however you choose. I also included the problems in a worksheet format if you prefer to use them this way.
